Baton Rouge Block Party
MAJOR SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR SATURDAY!
If you were scheduled to play at LSU, you are now playing at either Southern University. St. Michael or St. George.
The schedule is at: https://tinyurl.com/5xcbkbyy
WHEN: March 26-27, 2022
REGISTRATION: Advanced Event Systems
ADMISSION: ADMISSION IS BY CREDIT CARD ONLY, NO ADVANCE SALES. $10 per person, free for 8-and-under. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted.
Parents, chaperones, and team representatives must pay admission. Players and rostered coaches do not pay.
SCHEDULE: The schedule is posted. Remember that our schedule can change right up until the last minute. As we have told club directors, the tournament has grown faster than we could have imagined, so not all teams will play in the River Center. We are also aware that there could be mistakes on the schedule. If you are a parent or coach, please tell your club director. We will only entertain inquiries from club directors: https://bit.ly/3qsOJLM
ROSTERS: Teams can only compete if they have a completed AES Block Party roster printed out to present to the officials at each match. There is no pre-tournament check-in or meeting. Club directors and coaches are responsible for this. We will not be able to assist with this on-site, so please get your rosters completed and have printed copies with you for each match.
AGE WAIVERS: The Bayou Region does not grant waivers, nor are waivers from other regions accepted.
BOYS: The Bayou Region allows boys to play with and against girls teams in 10s, 12s, 13s, and 14s.
SAFE SPORT: Every player or coach who is 18 or will turn 18 during this club season must have taken the Safe Sport Training. There are no exceptions, so if you have an athlete who is 18, please go to: https://www.teamusa.org/usa-
Big thanks to Visit Baton Rouge (visitbatonrouge.com), the Governor’s Games (Louisiana Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports) and Southpoint Volkswagen (https://www.southpointvw.com) for their support of the Block Party.
SCHEDULE NOTES: The Saturday-morning waves at St. George and Woodlawn HS start at 9 a.m, not 8 a.m. like all the others. Also, if you play at St. Amant on Courts 32 or 33, you may bring your own chairs. That is the only venue where you can bring a chair.
